Sleek Makeup: i-Divine Eye Shadow Palette in Au Naturel

A couple of weeks ago, I received my Sleek Makeup Eye Shadow Palette. Opening the box felt like Christmas :). I heard many great things about this palette.

Unfortunately, because Sleek Makeup is based in the UK, there aren't any stores that carries the brand in the U.S. I've been using it every day since and I've neglected my other shadows; as this palette is very convenient and carries 12 shades instead of me using 5 different eye shadows (for example: using 1 color from a Revlon trio, w/ 2 from Almay, and 2 from Maybelline) to create a certain look. It's only $9.99. When I encountered the website, I nearly cried with joy (Okay, haha, exaggerating here). The colors look great on many skin tones. So, for those who have been lusting over Urban Decay's Naked Palette (like me), try this out!

The package itself, is in fact, sleek, living up to its name. The shadows lasts over 6 hours without a primer and with a primer, over 8 hours. So as you can see, this is an awesome deal :). It also has amazing color payoff and creates the perfect smoky eye. Rating? You've guessed it: 5/5.

**I almost always use Nougat (the lightest color) as a highlighter, Noir (the black shade) and Regal (the burgundy shade, next to Noir) as eyeliner, with Noir on my upper lash line and Regal on my lower lash line. I absolutely love the shade Conker (the shimmery medium brown shade, directly below the shade Nougat). It creates such a beautiful warmth for any eye color.

L'Oreal: True Match Super Blendable Makeup in Cocoa (C8)

I know I've been inconsistent with my blog posts. School is just so busy >_<.

Today, I'm reviewing L'Oreal True Match Liquid Foundation that I bought a couple days ago in Cocoa (C8). I love that this new line offers many different shades for women with different undertones (warm, neutral, and cool). I usually have issues finding a foundation that caters to my skin tone and skin type. Maybe I'm just picky, but I'm glad I finally found something that works for me :).

I have normal to dry skin and I prefer lightweight, sheer to moderate coverage. This foundation doesn't dry out my skin, lasts a long time (I need to use powder or else my face will look like it's melting in this Florida heat. The cold doesn't last all day here.), super blendable, and provides moderate, but buildable coverage. I think I got the wrong shade though. I think I'm more N8 (Cappucino) or N9 (Mahogany). The line offers 33 shades.

Nonetheless, I'm really pleased with this foundation. I give it 5/5.
